An Eclectic Collection of Vintage: Kitchen, Garden, and Barn

Vintage dealer Jerry Barnaby sells the things he loves. “I am drawn to things that are utilitarian but still cool and unique,” Barnaby says. His booth will be filled with finds culled from auctions, estate sales, and vintage shops in Minnesota and Wisconsin: kitchen antiques, ironstone dishes, enamelware, and lots of garden totes.

This year, Jerry’s booth will also feature Edison phonograph cylinders, a stack of vintage Fiesta plates (including the orange ones known as “atomic red”), and Hull Little Red Riding Hood items, produced in Ohio in 1943, during the Hull Pottery Company's heyday.

Jerry and his wife, Kris, have been making the trek from their home in Eden Prairie to Starbuck since the first Vintage and Artisan Market. What brings them back each year? “Selling vintage wares under the trees in City Park with the lake breezes makes for a special summer weekend. Even better, we get to spend time with friends and the other fantastic Market vendors.” Plan to join them at the Starbuck Vintage and Artisan Market on August 1 & 2. You might find yourself heading home with a new-found treasure or the start of a collection you’ll love for years.
